Re: Return to Modified Games Activities

The Board of Directors of Alberta Soccer is very pleased to announce the implementation of Phase 2 of the Alberta Return to Soccer Plan. Soccer Organizations that have completed the necessary protocols highlighted in the Return to Soccer Plans can now participate in Modified Games and/or Training that respects Cohort Guidelines put in to effect by the Government of Alberta and Alberta Soccer. Organizations that wish to return to these activities please access the information below and complete the required steps.

Alberta Soccer would like to thank District Members and their Member Clubs and Teams for their assistance in keeping the Soccer Community safe during these difficult times. Now is the time to begin the process to get back on the field and play games while keeping all players, coaches, administrators and referees safe. We thank everyone in advance to continue following the process to keep safety front and centre as we continue the re-launch of Soccer in Alberta.

Please access “Return to Modified Games (Phase 2)” and “Return to Training (Phase 1)” below. The recent announcement by the Government of Alberta and the accompanying Government of Alberta Covid-19 Guidelines for Organized Sport will allow soccer to return to games within a “cohort” environment.

Focus, discipline, hard work, goal setting and, of course, the thrill of finally achieving your goals.
These are all lessons in life.”
