NCCP Make Ethical Decisions (MED) ModuleCarmen Charron2023-08-14T09:15:39-06:00

The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Make Ethical Decisions Module is a requirement for all coaches within Alberta Soccer Standards for Quality Soccer. This multi-sport module is provided online through SPAR, and offered weekly for all coaches.

Please use this link to view current training opportunities : Alberta NCCP Multi-Sport Module Calendar, and the Coaching Association of Canada.

PROGRAM DETAILS

The Make Ethical Decision module is a four-hour training session and the registration fee is $45 per applicant.  An online evaluation to be completed after the training is included with no additional fee.   Currently this module is offered only online, however classroom opportunities may be offered in the coming months.

GROUP BOOKINGS (Closed Session – minimum 12 coaches)

SPAR is aware of a pending high demand from Alberta soccer clubs in relation to the training requirement for the Standards for Quality Soccer endorsement.  Closed sessions can be requested during the day, in the evenings or on weekends.  When planning a closed session, organizations should allow 4 weeks from scheduling to delivery, to promote the session and ensure a class requirement of 12 candidates is achieved.   If there is a need, some communities may be encouraged to collaborate to meet the minimum numbers for a closed session. If your club or organization would like to arrange a closed session for your members only, then please contact Bonnie.Feakes@gov.ab.ca to schedule a session(s).

Coaches will receive the NCCP training credit after completing the module, followed by an evaluated status once the online evaluation has been successfully completed.

Thank you for your interest in the training session and supporting Alberta Soccer to ensure soccer always provides a Safe, Fun and Inclusive environment for all.
