Earlier this morning, the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS) announced the recipients of the 2017 Women in Sport Encouragement (WISE) Fund grant. Alberta Soccer is pleased – and so grateful – to be named as one of ten organizations to receive the grant.
The WISE grant will support the operations of Alberta Soccer’s third annual Women in Soccer Conference, which is taking place in Red Deer on May 5-7. The conference offers women in Alberta (and across the country) an exciting opportunity for professional and personal development.
“We are proud to provide such a unique and valuable resource to women in the soccer community,” says ASA Program Coordinator, Carmen Charron, “And the CAAWS WISE grant helps us to offer the conference for such an incredible value.”
