Excellence Stream

High performance soccer in Alberta is defined by the principles of Long Term Player Development. The pathway is player-centred and coach-led, with support to enable players to reach toward Canada Soccer National Team Programming. The identified environments within Alberta Soccer’s Excellence Stream include the Academy Centres for male players and the Regional EXCEL (REX) centres for female players. Both centres target players between U14 & U17.
