The Alberta Soccer Association is proud to announce a new partnership with Soccability Canada, a federally incorporated not-for-profit organisation that focuses on developing soccer for people with disabilities. Established in 2020, Soccability Canada works with sanctioned soccer organizations and other sport and non-sport organizations that share their same vision.
This partnership will support the development of Alberta Soccer Member clubs and associations through workshops and guidance on best practices, as well as promoting accessible programs.
In the words of Matt Greenwood with Soccability Canada, “We are really excited to formalise this partnership with Alberta Soccer Association. We know there is great interest in the province for this type of education and support, we can’t wait to assist the ASA membership in the growth of their programs and wider inclusion in the community.”
We look forward to kicking off this collaboration with Soccability Canada for the benefit of people with disabilities in Alberta.
