Canada Summer Games – REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR MALE AND FEMALE TEAMS TRYOUTS

Alberta Soccer is excited to open registration for the tryouts for our Male and Female teams participating in the 2025 Canada Summer Games. The Games will take place in St. John’s, NL from Friday, August 8, 2025 (Week 1 participants arrive) to Monday, August 25, 2025 (Week 2 participants depart).

The Male team is scheduled to play in Week 1 and the Female team in Week 2.

Please see the following information on the age groups for the Canada Summer Games and the registration details:

MEN’S & WOMEN’S TEAMS

Under 17 before January 1, 2025, Registrants must be born in either 2008 or 2009. No other birth years will be eligible.

Registration deadline is April 30, 2024.

Tryout cost will be $100 for the initial weekend. Tryouts are tentatively scheduled for May 11/12 in Edmonton and May 25/26 in Calgary. Times and locations are to be finalized in January 2024.

Players north of Red Deer Tryouts will be in Edmonton.

Players south of Red Deer Tryouts will be in Calgary.

** PDP Players MUST have a letter from the Technical Director of their club giving them approval to try out. Letters from the coach will NOT be accepted**

**NO CLUB APPAREL to be worn at or during tryouts**
