Become a Learning Facilitator

coaching-coachesLearning Facilitators (LF’s) play a key role in the new Coaching Pathway. They take on responsibility for training and developing coaches who are looking to enhance their own individual experience and qualifications through the formal training and certification programs.

The Alberta Soccer Technical Department trains, qualifies and supports LF’s who understand and support Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) – the underpinning principles of player and coaching development in Canada.

2018 Learning Facilitator training has been completed.

To qualify for this training, candidates must currently be an Alberta Soccer Learning Facilitator, or be certified at a minimum of the Provincial B Licence level. In special circumstances, coaches that are C Licence Trained or Certified will be considered for learning facilitator training.
