Become a Learning Facilitator

coaching-coachesLearning Facilitators (LF’s) play a key role in the new Coaching Pathway. They take on responsibility for training and developing coaches who are looking to enhance their own individual experience and qualifications through the formal training and certification programs.

The ASA Technical Department trains, qualifies and supports LF’s who understand and support Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) – the underpinning principles of player and coaching development in Canada.

2016 workshops will run in Edmonton on April 2nd (8:30 am to 6:30 pm) and in Calgary on April 3rd (8:30 am to 6:30 pm). Participants will only be expected to attend one workshop and all expenses based on Alberta Soccer Association policies will be covered for participants traveling in from out of town.

To qualify for this training, candidates must currently be an Alberta Soccer Association Learning Facilitator, or be certified at a minimum of the Provincial B License level.
