Women in Sport Leadership – Coach Developer Initiative

In partnership with the Coaching Association of Canada, Alberta Soccer established the Women in Sport Leadership – Coach Developer Initiative in 2017. The program seeks to attract female coaches who want to pursue leadership roles within their club, district or the province as a learning facilitator, coach evaluator and/or mentor.

Minimum Qualifications to apply for the program: 

  • C Licence Trained (ie. completed C Licence course and MED online evaluation)

All of the associated costs of the program are covered through the above noted partnership and participants are expected to be available for all aspects of the program, including (but not limited to):

  • Women in Soccer Conference
  • C Licence Course
  • Introductory Sessions
  • Learning Facilitator Co-Delivery
  • Coach Evaluator Co-Evaluation
