In accordance with its mission and vision, the Alberta Soccer Association strives to create a centre of excellence for the game, providing opportunities for all players to reach their full potential. You can help us make a difference by donating here.

Donation receipts will be issued for any amounts over $250.

Donation Fund Program

The Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation (ASRPWF) Donation Fund Program assists athletes and not-for-profit sport and recreation organizations in obtaining financial support. Donations are only eligible for tax-deductible receipts if the donor or related party does not directly or indirectly benefit from the donation in any way other than the tax benefit.

Alberta Soccer Programs that focus on athlete/player development would include:

  • Mini Stars Program (10-12 Year Old Male and Females – Introduction to Excellence Program)
  • Provincial Training Program (U13-15 Male and Female Provincial Teams)
  • Regional Performance Centres (14 to 17 year old Males and Females)

How to Make a Donation?

The donor makes an unconditional donation to the Donation Fund Program. Although the donor may suggest that the donation go to a specific program, the donation is unconditional in nature. The Foundation is not obligated to follow donor suggestions.

  • Referee Development Training and Courses (eg. “Look Sharp Be Sharp”, Assistant Referee Training, Refresher Courses)
  • Referee Coures (Mini, Youth, District)
  • Assessment Program
  • District Referee Assistant Program
  • Awards and Honourariums for Referees

  • District Outreach/LTPD Implementation Sessions
  • Grassroots Festivals – teaching festival format to Coaches and young players in communities throughout Alberta
  • Summer Camps
  • Soccability/Powerchair Soccer Program – program for players with disabilities

  • Grassroots Coaching Awards and Honourariums
