Multi-Sport Games
Multi-sport games are an important part of the Canadian Sport Development system and Alberta Soccer supports multisport games for athletes to compete in and showcase their talents. Some Alberta athletes compete as part of Team Alberta in national and regional multisport programs and some compete as part of regional teams to represent their part of Alberta.
Competitions:
Alberta Games (Summer and Winter) – These games involve athletes age 11 to 17 who represent 8 Zones across the province.
Canada Summer Games – These are the highest national multi-sport competition for young athletes.
Arctic Winter Games – Athletes represent Team Alberta North in this international competition and who live north of the 55th parallel.
North American Indigenous Games – A multisport event that includes Indigenous athletes from all over North America.
