(October 17, 2019) The 2020 North American Indigenous Games will take place from July 12-19 in Halifax (Kjipuktuk) and Millbrook First Nation. Alberta Soccer is pleased to send four Team Alberta squads to the events, and welcomes Indigenous players throughout the province to attend one of the three player identification events being held this November.

About the Games
Over 5,000 participants from across North America will compete in 16 sports.
Thousands of visitors will experience a cultural celebration and village at the Halifax Commons which includes dance, songs, music, games, art and teachings. New friendships will be created amongst the athletes, coaches, officials, partners and over 3,000 volunteers from Nova Scotia.
