(December 20, 2017) In the new year, Alberta Soccer will hold its annual Grassroots Symposium in both Calgary (Jan 6) and Edmonton (Jan 7).
This year, in partnership with Active for Life, the symposiums will focus on physical literacy and its role in the successful performances of young soccer players. Parents, coaches and administrators to encouraged to observe the sessions and will have the opportunity to discuss and address questions regarding physical literacy with the Alberta Soccer Grassroots team.
There will also be a player festival during the last hour of the event to demonstrate physical literacy focused activities as they relate to the game of soccer.
